Is it legal to hunt deer with a non muzzle loading rifle in Ohio? - ohio deer hunting regulations

I've always been a bow hunter, but I moved to Ohio and decided to start, hunting rifle. But I saw on the regulation of hunting and says you can not hunt with a rifle or muzzle-loading step. I have a gun 30/06. Does anybody know if this is legal?

  2. No, not legal to hunt deer with a muzzle-loading rifle, not in Ohio. Check Ohio Department of Education Web site of Natural Resources for more details about what equipment is legal.
